Project Overview

I designed and developed a dedicated website for scan.academy, an education platform focused on advancing obstetric and gynaecology ultrasound through high-quality learning experiences.

The site supports both online and in-person events, connecting a global audience of students and professionals with leading experts in the field.

Approach

Working with a distributed team across the UK, India and Australia, the website was rebuilt to create a more professional, flexible platform that could evolve alongside the organisation’s growing education programs.

A key focus was enabling fast and efficient updates, particularly for launching new events, updating program details and supporting ongoing promotion.

The design introduces a more contemporary look and feel, including subtle animation and visual elements to engage a globally diverse, largely student-based audience.

In addition to the website, I support ongoing EDM campaigns and implemented an integrated ticketing system using Eventbrite to streamline online event registrations.

Outcome

The result is a modern, easy-to-manage platform that supports the continued growth of scan.academy’s education offering.

The site allows for quick turnaround on event launches and promotions, helping the team coordinate activity across multiple regions and time zones.

Recent events have attracted over 300 in-person attendees, with online participation continuing to grow supported by a connected system of website updates, email campaigns and event registration.
