Migrate WordPress site to Squarespace

Project Overview

In collaboration with Dr Simon Meagher, I redesigned and rebuilt the website in Squarespace, transitioning from WordPress to create a more flexible and easy-to-manage platform.

The focus was to modernise the look and feel while making it simple to update content quickly, particularly for promoting events, education programs and new material as they arise.

Approach

Working closely with Simon, the site was designed to reflect both his professional reputation and expertise.

A key priority was creating a structure that allows for:

• quick updates to event information

• seamless integration with EDM campaigns

• the ability for small content edits to be made easily, even via mobile

Outcome

The result is a clean, modern website that clearly presents Dr Simon’s work in ultrasound obstetrics and gynaecology, along with his education programs.

The flexibility of the platform allows for rapid updates, supporting ongoing promotion of events, courses and content across website, email and LinkedIn.

Following the success of this project, I was also engaged to create a second event-focused website for scan.academy.

This project reflects a collaborative, ongoing approach where the website evolves alongside the work it supports.
